The noise level (NL) is the key parameter to evaluate the acoustic radiation performance of compressor, two significant sources of which are the acoustic wall pressure fluctuation (AWPF) and turbulent wall pressure fluctuation (TWPF). However, less concern has been paid to the research on these noise sources in previous works. To illustrate this issue, a software named Bladegen was used to build the reverse model of compressor and the RNG kappa-epsilon model was employed to simulate unsteady-state flow field of the compressor to obtain acoustic sources. Then, the hybrid method based on Morhing acoustic analogy was adopted to predict the acoustic radiation of the compressor, which was validated by test. The results show that the hybrid method based on Morhing acoustic analogy can accurately predict the acoustic radiation of compressor. Compared with TWPF, AWPF is a more significant source. This work provides a valuable guidance for the noise reduction design of compressor and has practical engineering significance.
