After a reversal of falling prices last summer,the Eastern Market Indicator (EMI) of Australian wool advanced sharply after the start of January this year and rose to 754 Australian cent/kg on March 9 and advanced to 555 cents in the US dollar converted price in the following Week.Subsequently,with the entry into the wait-and-see adjustment phase,market pries began to move down gradually.The EMI prices continued to fall and closed at 708 A cents on May 4.
