Total’s LNG sales plummet

Total recorded a 17pc fall in third-quarter LNG sales compared with a year earlier. The company sold 2.47mn t of LNG in July-September, down from 2.98mn t in the same period in 2014. LNG sales for January-September were also down by 17pc on the year at 7.58mn t. The com- pany partly attributed the drop in sales to lower oil prices.
