Philippine imports up sharply in July

The Philippines imported 15,826t of NPKs in July, which represents a 134pc year-on-year rise, according to latest GTIS data. This brings total NPK imports for the first seven months of the year to 100,975t, up by a more modest 3pc compared with the corresponding period of the previous year. Vietnam continues to supply the majority of NPKs, accounting for 42,455t or 42pc of the Philippines’ total NPK imports for this seven-month period. This figure is up by around 3,000t year on year.
