Tessenderlo revenue falls on weaker agro sector

Belgium-based chemicals and fertilizers producer Tessend- erlo's revenues fell slightly to just under ?402mn ($452mn) in the frst quarter, a decline of 0.7pc year on year, amid a weaker agro sector. Overall revenue excluding foreign exchange effects fell by just 0.1pc year on year. But the frm's agro sector — which includes fertilizers such as SOP — saw a decline of 7.2pc, af- fecting the overall fgure.
