Domestic urea application increased in the past two weeks in vast areas in China but dropped in some areas including Henan and Jiangsu provinces due to the application season being close to fnishing. As a result, the ammonia market fuctuated signifcantly this week. Some ammonia producers continued to raise prices at the beginning of the week but then reduced the prices later in the week when they found demand was falling. However in areas like Hebei province and Shandong province, the price remained frm.
