KFels bags two more jackups

Keppel Pels in Singapore has secured a contract to build a KFels B class jackup valued at us110 million for Gulf Drilling International (GDI),Qatar's new national drilling company.The jackup,Gulf-4,suited to Arabian Gulf and Indian waters,will be built to KFels' proprietary design with a capability to operate in a 300ft water depth,drill to 30,000ft and accommodate 110 personnel.GDI is a 60:40 joint venture established last year by Qatar Petroleum and Japan Drilling Company.
