Alison to build PTA in phases

Shanghai Alison Petrochemical is planning to build a 1.8m tonne/year purified terephthalic acid(PTA)facility in Shanghai,China,in two equal phases,a company source told ACN.The company sought government approval for the project's first phase last year.The source said the project would be built on the company's land in Fengxian district,near the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park in Caojing,Shanghai.Alison has acquired 3.7km2 of land.
