摘要

Infant feeding decisions are invariably made, based on factors wider than health benefits and often reflect social norms. The effectiveness of breastfeeding promotion campaigns may be undermined by pre-existing negative attitudes and perceived social barriers to breastfeeding. Although evidence is scarce, attitudes towards infant feeding may be constructed during childhood and be deeply entrenched. The aim of this study was to explore the infant feeding awareness of primary school aged children (aged from 5 to 11 years).
