Synthesis of{Substituted-[(4-{[4-(carboxymethyl-carbamoyl)phenyIimino]methyl}benzylidene)-amino]benzoylamino}carboxylic Acids

摘要

Some novel derivatives of methotrexate like compounds 2a-f have been synthesized,using terephthalaldehyde,isophthalaldehyde,4-aminobenzoic acid and amino acids(glycine,beta-alanine,L-glutamic acid).The structures of the products were identified by spectroscopic methods and antimicrobial effects of these compounds have been investigated on bacterial and yeast cells.
