Hoover Dam Symposium Celebrates Engineering Icon

AS PART OF the Society's 140th Annual Civil Engineering Conference, which was held in Las Vegas October 21-23, engineers, historians, and others had the opportunity to attend the Hoover Dam 75th Anniversary History Symposium. This event featured presentations by 15 engineers, architects, and historians dealing with the dam, its history, the men who constructed it, and the effect it has had on the civil engineering profession.
