GDP to grow by 4.4pc this year — IMF

The global economy continues to recover from the financial crisis, but growth in advanced economies remains "subdued", the IMF says in its January World Economic Outlook (WEO). And while activity in emerging nations may be "buoyant", their economies are showing some signs of overheating, the IMF says.
