Global oil supply exceeded demand by 2.6mn b/d in January-March, and the second-quarter surplus could be up to 3mn b/d, Argus predicts. Lower prices are feeding through to consumers and boosting demand growth. But the global crude surplus still rose in the first quarter on higher Opec production.
