The fragmentary and slow release of Urals loading programmes is hampering price discovery for late-assessment period cargoes. Russian pipeline operator Transneft tends to release preliminary Urals export schedules for fve-day blocks from around the 15th of each month covering the next month’s loadings. Early programmes often differ substantially from the fnal schedule, and offer imprecise dates for when a cargo will load, with ranges of 3-11 days. Transneft releases the complete loading programme around the 20th-22nd day of each month.
