Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Nazif stressed the depth of Egyptian-Russian relations, and underlined the necessity of enhancing such relations and bringing them back to their previous extensive form. This is important in light of the major changes the world is witnessing and the ongoing to drive remove all obstacles facing the flow of trade and investments between the two countries. Dr. Nazif pointed to Egypt's role in helping Russia to join the World Trade Organization (WTO), and supporting its process of transformation to a market economy.
