Europe keeps refinery runs high

European refiners ran at 97pc of capacity last month,encouraged by wide crack spreads on middle distillates.A 260,000 b/d hike left throughputs in the EU16 at an 11-month high of 12.72mn b/d.Crude runs have only exceeded 12.7mn b/d six times since Euroilstock records began in 1990,European refineries have now been operating at over 95pc of capacity for four consecutive months,the longest stretch of such high utilisation in five years.
