Sonatrach to Increase its Interest in the Camisea Gas and Condensate Project in Peru

Sonatrach has decided to step up its involvement in the Camisea Project in Peru,and the Peruvian government has given its approval for the Algerian national oil company to purchase part of the holiding of the Argentinian company pluspetrol.The project comprises both an upstream element-the development of the gas and condensate reserves of the Camisea field-and a downstream elemetn-the transport and istributin of the gas.
