USDA publishes five-year strategic plan

The USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has come up with a strategic plan for the five years from 2023 to end 2027. It focuses on aspects such as protecting crops from diseases and pests, as well as delivering solutions that reduce the impact of climate change on the agriculture industry. The APHIS notes that its vision incorporates stakeholder inputs on a framework designed from a plan published in June last year.
