Petrobras Said to Be Prepared to Study the Possibility of Exploiting Morocco's Oil Shale Deposits

According to the Brazilian newspaper O Globo,the state-owned oil company Petrobras is about to sign a cooperation agreement with the Office National des Hydrocarbures et des Mines (Onhym) for the conduct of a feasibility study on the extraction of oil from Morocco's oil shale deposits.The same source reported that the agreement could be signed in June,on the occasion of the official visit to Morocco of Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
