摘要

A current control method of an electromagnetic levitation device is studied in the paper. Finite element method is used to model the device known as TEAM Workshop Problem 28. Proportional-Integral controller of sinusoidal current amplitude ensures a needed levitator position. The levitation device equations and the controller equations are coupled and sequentially solved in control loop. A sequential model for solving the control problem is presented. Three cases of position control are examined in numerical examples. In all cases the amplitude values of sinusoidal currents applied on coils for given positions are determined.
