American administration: From Steel War to the Oil War

In March 2002 the American administration launched a trade war known as the steel war. This war has aimed to protect the production of the American steel companies through imposing "protectionist" tariffs on the American imports of steel products ranging from 8 percent to 30 percent. These tariffs are intended to limit the steel imports. They included most of the countries of the world except a limited number of countries, followed by excluding other countries and companies according to the USA'S economic and political interests.
