UAE: Gerneral holding corporation (GHC) New project for production of 2 million tons of flats and 6 million ton of pellets

General Holding Corporation (GHC) is conducting feasibility studies to start with its expansion plan in the steel industry by setting up a mill to produce flats with an annual production capacity of two million tons, according to the statement of Sheikh Hamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Head of Planning and Economy Department in Abu Dhabi Emirate, addressed on his behalf in opening the International Symposium on Arab Steel Industry organized by the Arab Iron and Steel Union in Abu Dhabi city on 6-8 March 2006.
