The Minister of Energy and Water Resources in the outgoing Cabinet, Mr. Gebran Bassil, has announced that a tender has been issued for the rehabilitation of 14 petroleum product storage tanks in Tripoli that have a total capacity of 428,000 cu m. The closing date for the submission of bids is 5 July. Mr. Bassil made the announcement in the course of a press conference at which he added that, once the results of this tender had been made public, the Ministry would issue a second on 21 July for the lease of these storage tanks.
