Sonatrach to Deliver 3 Billion Cu M of LNG to Statoil at Cove Point in Maryland (USA)

Statoil announced on 25 November that it had signed an agreement with Sonatrach providing for the Algerian company to supply it with 3 billion cu m of natural gas over a three-year period.The agreement provides for the Norwegian company to receive an annual volume of 1 billion cu m of liquefied natural gas (LNG) starting this December.The LNG is to be delivered to the Cove Point reception and regasification terminal in Maryland,USA.
