Mubadala and Dubai Sign an Agreement for a $5-Billion Bauxite and Alumina Project in Guinea

On the occasion of the Guinecm Partners and Investors Conference held in Abu Dhabi, the government of Guinea signed an agreement with Guinea Alumina Corporation (GAC), a joint venture between Mubadala Development Company of Abu Dhabi and Dubai Aluminium (Dubai), for the development of an alumina refinery at Sangaredi. The project is expected to require an investment of $5 billion over the next eight years.
