Evaluation of the use of shovels and trucks at the Sangaredi bauxite mine (Republic of Guinea).

摘要

The purpose of this thesis study is to find a truck-shovel system suitable for the bauxite plateau of Sangaredi in the Republic of Guinea. This plateau is the first in operation since 1973 among many others in the vicinity by the "Compagnie des Bauxites de Guinee (C.B.G.)". Until recently, mining was performed by power shovels and trains on a single bench. The complicated deposit structure and the opening of 3 additional benches necessitate the use of hydraulic excavators and trucks.;In this study simulations of truck cycles and truck and excavator productivities are made to select the correct operating fleet, then a unit cost production estimate for both trucks and excavators is made.
