The 11th World Renewable Energy Congress 2010 being organized by the World Renewable Energy Council (WREC), which is based in the United Kingdom, and the Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi (EAD), will take place in Abu Dhabi from 25 to 30 September under the theme "Towards a Sustainable Environment: Green Buildings and Renewable Energy Options". The sponsors include the National Energy and Water Research Center - Abu Dhabi (NEWRC) and the Abu Dhabi Center of Waste Management (CWM). The Congress is being supported by Masdar.
