Also on the occasion of the Megas conference,the President of ConocoPhillips Qatar,Mr.Mike Stice,indicated that the QG 3 project was going ahead on schedule and within budget despite the rise in industry costs and limited supplies of raw materials.QG 3,which is a joint venture between Qatar Petroleum (QP - 68.5%),ConocoPhillips (30%) and Mitsui (1.5%),is scheduled to bring train 6 of the Qatargas complex into production in 2009.
