Nine Companies Invited to Bid by May for the Construction of the Shuaiba North Power and Water Complex

At the request of the Energy Ministry,the Central Tenders Committee (CTC) has invited nine companies to submit bids by 7 May for the EPC (engineering,procurement and construction) contract for the Shuaiba North power and water cogeneration station,according to the local newspaper al-Qabas.The complex is due to have a capacity of 500 MW of electricity and 60 million gallons/day of potable water.
