Oman LNG to Raise a US175-Million,Eight-Year Loan to Part-Finance the New LNG Train to Be Operated by Qalhat LNG

Oman's plans for expanding its liquefied natural gas (LNG) production capacity are moving ahead very satisfactorily.Oman LNG LLC plans to raise a loan of US175 million to part-finance its share of the capital investment of Qalhat LNG SAOC,a new venture in which Oman LNG is due to have a holding of less than 40%.Qalhat LNG is to develop a new liquefaction train with a capacity of 3.3 million tons/year that is to be located alongside Oman LNG's existing liquefaction plant at Qalhat.Oman LNG will operate the train on behalf of Qalhat LNG.
