Crude Oil Exports Increased by Some 200,000 B/D to 2.51 Million B/D in April

Iraq's crude oil exports took a great leap forward in April. According to the Oil Ministry, they totaled 75.3 million barrels, up from 71.8 million barrels in March. That was equivalent to an average of 2.51 million barrels/day in April, representing a 190,000-b/d increase from the previous month's rate of 2.32 million b/d. Exports in April were at their highest level in a long time, as the table on the following page shows.
