Anglo American thermal coal production falls

UK-South African mining company Anglo American reportedthat thermal coal production fell by 21pc in the fourthquarter following strikes in South Africa and weather-relatedproduction shut-ins in Colombia. Fourth quarter output fell by over 20pc or 3.84mn tyear on year to 15.02mn t. Thermal coal production in thefinal quarter of 2015 fell by 13pc, or a 2.26mn t quarter-onquarterdecline.
