Austrian wood pellet prices inched up in August,to an aver-age of?243/t(321/t)for a 6t delivery,according to the country's pellet association ProPellets.The price is 5.4pc lower than in the same month last year. The?1/t increase from July leaves prices still?23/t below record highs,recorded in January.But it has nar-rowed the gap on prices in neighbouring Germany to around ?3.50/t,from as much as?25/t at the end of last year.
