Shougang lifts June supplementary V-N bid

Chinese state-owned steelmaker Shougang Changzhi has raised its tender price for a supplementary purchase of vanadium-nitrogen alloy for June delivery, in response to increasing spot prices over the past three weeks. The firm on 22 June purchased 20t of 77pc grade vanadium,16pc grade nitrogen at 195,450 yuan/t ($39.17/ kg for vanadium contained) delivered plus value-added tax (VAT) and payable by acceptance bill.
