Is 'pedophilia' a paraphrase of the incest taboo? Apropos: Are the corollaries of taboo offered up as reasons for it?

The announcement of DSM-5 has featured the aspired elevation of "hebephilia" from plethysmographic finding to mental disorder, as well as a concomitant rehashing of discussions around "pedophilia." Cross-cultural and even cross-species arguments animate this aspiration, particularly as aids in biosocial framing of issues (Feierman, 1990; see also Hames & Blanchard, 2012; Rind & Yuill, 2012; Ryniker, 2012; cf. Josephs, 2011).
