Iran seeks investment for PC projects.

According to Farnaz Alavi, director of planning and development for Iran's state-run National Petrochemical Co., the company is looking for outside investment to build 25 petrochemical projects, with studies underway to find feedstock for five more. The report came after a July announcement in which Mr. Alavi said that $32B in foreign investment was needed to proceed with 28 projects, including facilities to make ammonia and urea as well as gas-to-olefins and gas-to-propylene capacity.
