US: Colorado firm developing fuel cell bus prototype

COLORADO-based Mobile Energy Solutions (MES) expects to complete designing and building a prototype next-generation hydrogen fuel cell-powered bus soon. The project is called 'Origin One' as the buses are being designed from the ground up, and are claimed to be more fuel efficient, reliable and affordable. The company admitted that the engineers working on the prototype have been challenged in dealing with the heat generated from on-board batteries.
