Your rights at work

For those following my Your Rights At Work articles on health and safety, you'll know that I've written on this subject a couple of times in the last three years, so I thought it worthy to return to this issue, especially with some pretty big issues that are at play at the moment (Munday, 2009; 2010). The focus of my last two articles on the subject looked at the NHS Health and Wellbeing Review, led by Dr Steve Boorman (and often referred to as the Boorman Review). The final report was published in November 2009, so you could hope that such an important report would have had, by now, a significant impact on the health of the NHS workforce (Department of Health, 2009). However, the world has changed in those intervening three years and it would be hard to ignore the fact that the situation has become decidedly worse.
