EFSA clears Corteva’s two-stack GM soybeans

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has given safety clearance to products from a genetically modified soybean line combining insect resistance and herbicide tolerance traits. The application for EU approval for import, processing and use in food and feed was submitted by Corteva legacy company Dow AgroSciences. The line combines insect-resistant DAS81419, sold as Conkesta, with DAS44406, sold as Enlist E3, which is resistant to 2,4-D, glyphosate and glufosinate-ammonium herbicides.
