BASF’s agricultural solutions business grew by 1% to European dollar 2,846 million ($3,338 million at the current rate) during the first quarter. The rise was primarily attributable to higher volumes, which increased by 7%. That, combined with a 2% rise in prices, barely offset the 8% negative impact from currency fluctuations.
