Indigo Ag unveils novel biofungicide

US agricultural products business Indigo Ag(Boston,Massachusetts)reports the registration of its biofungicide,Biotrinsic.The product is the"first biofungicide based on the microbe,Kosakonia cowani”,the company says.The microbe is registered for use on cereal grains,maize,soybean,cotton,legume vegetables and oil seeds.Biotrinsic controls plant diseases and"reintroduces beneficial microbes naturally present around or within plant tissues”,the company says.The biofungicide will enter demonstration trials this crop season,ahead of an anticipated 2023 market launch.
