Axia Energy proposes redrill of dry hole offsetting 2014 Trenton oil discovery

CLIMAX, Mich.—Denver-based Axia Energy II LLC has proposed the reentry and directional redrill of a direct offset to the company's prolific 2014 Trenton oil discovery four miles southwest of the village of Climax in east-central Kalamazoo County. Through the end of June 2016 Axia's discovery well and lone successful offset to the northwest had produced a cumulative total of 192,357 barrels oil in just 25 months.
