Southern Branch held their Annual General Meeting on 23rd May combining with a visit to The Gatwick Aviation Museum at Charlwood, Surrey. Founded by Peter Vallance in the mid 80's, the museum houses a unique collection of British Aircraft from the 'golden age' of British aircraft manufacture. IHE members were able to view vintage examples of aircraft made by such famous names as English Electric, Avro de Havilland, Hawker, Fairey, Blackburn and Percival.
