Zhonggu Logistics boosted by robust container market

STRONG container freight markets have boosted the earnings of Zhonggu Logistics. The Chinese domestic and coastal shipping specialist forecasts net profits for 2021 to increase by between 131%-140% to Yuan2.4bn-2.5bn ($378m-$394m). Excluding one-off items, the gains were expected to grow by 95.7%-108.4% to Yuanl.5bn-Yuanl.6bn. The Shanghai-listed company attributed the growth to a sharp rise in freight rates and demand for vessel tonnage.
