The Felixstowe-based Maritime Group has acquired DHL Container Logistics (UK) for an undisclosed sum.rnThe deal was completed on January 1, 2010, and includes the company's entire container transport activities, such as its extensive container lifting, storage and repair operations in Felixstowe and Trafford Park (Manchester).rnDHL Container Logistics will initially trade under the name of Maritime Container Logistics, but it will soon be combined with the intermodal operations of Maritime Transport to create a trucking pool of 900 vehicles and transport depots at every major port and consumer centre in England.
