US : Cobalt prices up on EV boost

Cobalt prices have strengthened as escalating electric vehicle production plans in the US bolsters sentiment, but oversupply continues to weigh on indium prices. Prices for 99.65pc grade antimony were at $2.26-2.35/lb cif US today, flat on 21 July. Prices are widely expected to trend downward in the next few months as demand is low and competition for sales remains.
