摘要

The growing awareness regarding the intake of vitamins in general and vitamin C in particular has necessitated the development of analytical methods for the micro-determination of ascorbic acid in pharmaceuticals and natural samples. Consequently, several instrument based methods such as fluorometry, spectrometry, amperometry and HPLC etc. have been developed. These methods have been reviewed from time to time by different workers to highlight their utility in the analysis of samples and comparing their different characteristics and the inherent limitations.
