Local content at the forefront of planning

FOLLOWING THE INTRODUCTION of the Local Content Bill passed in 2010, local content and capacity building are now at the forefront of pianning amongst major stakeholders in Nigeria. In response, the NOGTech 2011 focused on the repositioning of Nigeria's oil and gas technology, utiLisation and commercialisation, with a special round table session on the role Universities will play in shaping oil and gas industry.
