US mill lead times for sheet move lower; plate holds

US steel mills’ lead times for three of the four main flat steel product categories retracted slightly week on week, S&P Global Platts data showed on June 2. Despite the drop in average lead times for the three products, limited supply options continued to support rising prices in all four markets.
