EIA lowers crude, raises gasoline forecasts

The EIA has lowered its US crude production estimate for 2022, keeping it below pre-Covid levels. Domestic crude output will average just over 11.75mn b/d next year, down by 0.8pc from the July forecast of 11.85mn b/d, the EIA says in its latest Short- Term Energy Outlook (STEO).
